The Tollbridge Route runs through a passage that sits on the edge of disputed noble territory. Several things can go wrong, and probably will:
- Goblin tribes have been raiding caravans near the midpoint crossing
- A petty noble is collecting unofficial tolls and calling them “administrative fees”
- Nate’s wagons are heavier than he disclosed and slower than promised
None of these are individually dangerous. Together they are a solid tutorial in how adventuring actually works.
