La Organisazion
“A rumor with many faces. The original design is dead. Its shadows remain.”
Overview
La Organisazion was a structured criminal network blending magical enforcement, black-market logistics, and political leverage. It operated cleanly for roughly three years before its founder vanished and ordered it dissolved.
History
- The founder vanished. Dissolution orders were issued.
- Loyal cells wound down. Ambitious branches ignored the order.
- Some branches seceded and became independent operations.
- Some became far worse than the original design intended.
- The branch operating in Benwull’s district twisted into predatory extortion.
Structure
No central structure remains. What exists now is a collection of former branches operating independently:
- Dissolved branches: followed the dissolution order, no longer active
- Seceded branches: operating independently with their own goals
- Corrupted branches: predatory, cruel, nothing like the original design
The branch relevant to Benwull “Luckyfoot” Budly’s story has new leadership that is far crueler than the original design.
Goals
The original goal no longer exists in any unified form. Each surviving branch has its own agenda.
The Benwull branch goal: extract maximum value from its debt holders. Keep them dependent. Keep them paying.
Resources and Reach
- Deep knowledge of illegal magic markets, black-market logistics, and political pressure points
- Former network infrastructure repurposed by individual branches
- The Benwull branch: controls his mother’s treatments as leverage
Story Role
-
The structural cause of Benwull’s entire situation
-
A ghost empire whose collapse is still causing damage years later
Connections
- Benwull “Luckyfoot” Budly: in debt to a corrupted branch. His mother’s life is their leverage.
- The Grand Poppies: former controlled partner guild, destroyed by branch predation after the collapse.
