Asgar D. Yan
“A hero must be remembered. He will make sure of it.”
Overview
Asgar was once a humble squire in a village too small for its own map (literally). After reading exactly three and a half books about legendary knights, he declared himself a knight without permission from anyone. He forged his own armor from old pots, bedpans, and a slightly dented trash can lid, mounted a mangy donkey named Sir Jon Paul Jones, and set off on a crusade for chivalry, honor, and saving “the honor of everyone who looks vaguely offended.”
He believes the world is overrun by dragons disguised as windmills. He has not yet been proven wrong to his own satisfaction.
He forced himself into Mayor Mayor’s party through sheer conviction and was hired because nobody could make him leave.

Backstory
Asgar grew up a squire in a village with no name on any map. He read three and a half books about legendary knights. The half-book, he insists, contained the secret chapter of infinite wisdom.
On the strength of this education, he declared himself a knight, built himself armor from kitchenware, and rode out on Sir Jon Paul Jones to fight the dragons he was certain were disguised as windmills everywhere.
He eventually found Mayor Mayor’s operation and decided he was meant to be part of it. He showed up. He refused to leave. He was hired.
Connections
- Mayor Mayor: patron and employer, hired Asgar after it became clear he simply would not go away.
